The unit of Cellular and Applied Infection Biology is involved in the education of medical students at RWTH University during the winter semester. Additionally, we are involved in the curriculum of bachelor and master students studying biology or biotechnology.
The main objective at the unit of Cellular and Applied Infection Biology is the parasite Plasmodium falciparum causing the Malaria disease. In our lab, we investigate up-to-date topics dealing with different aspects of the parasite and its life cycle. Via this link, we will present you projects that are currently investigated in our lab.
