The international and divers team of the Department of Cellular and Applied Infection Biology (ZAI) consists of scientific and non-scientific staff together with students of the bachelor and master programmes biology and biotechnology. Our focus in research and teaching forms a thematic bridge between zoology and medicine and thus enables close ties to colleagues from both fields. The close cooperation with various national and international partners enables the linking of both the basic and the applied aspects of our research.
